This week HS Football will be traveling to Southwest Community College to participate in their Spring Football Jamboree. We will be playing North Pike High School starting at 6pm

Chilita Jones-Cheerleading
Coach Chilita Jones is everything a coach exemplifies. Strong, resilient, dedicated and not only with her sporting area but making sure to support other sporting areas as well. She's a team player and her cheer squad reflects her by having the same attributes she does. This speaks volumes. Thank you Coach Chilita Jones for being a great example to our ladies and gentlemen of this school district and cheering on everyone around you. Congrats!
Our Varsity Track Team had top 5 in Girls and Boys Track and Field at the Class 3A State Championship in Pearl, MS on Tuesday. We are very Proud of the Eagle Runners.
Our Girls had 2 State Champion relay teams (4x100, 4x400). We had several individual Runner Ups (A.Perryman 400m, Matthews, 100m, Osbey 110mH, Harrell , TJ) and one bronze (Martin , TJ).
Special shoutout to the Girls 4x400m Relay Team for breaking the school record. Also John Harrell broke the school record in the Triple Jump.
Hats off to our baseball and softball coaching staffs for a job well done this year! They both made it to the first round of the playoffs and seasons both came to an end this past Friday. Great job and we look forward to seeing them make it further on next season! Way to go Eagle Nation!!
Big Congratulations are in order to Makayla Robertson, our senior point/off guard, who just signed an athletic scholarship agreement to play basketball at Mississippi Delta Community College. We wish her much success and appreciate her contribution to our basketball team over the years of her participating here at South Pike High and it will never be forgotten.
Great job to all the athletic departments and our athletic director Luther McCray for their restless hours towards our student-athletes!!! It does not go unnoticed! We appreciate everything you do and have done for this school and our entire district. We are about to give thanks and rewards to those athletes at our annual athletic banquet on May 7, 2024 at the Magnolia, MS Safe Room. Athletes have already been given information on tickets and how to disclose them and what to do at this time. Thank you for allowing your child to be apart of South Pike High School's Athletic Program and participate in the legacy of our school and education system. We Thank you again!
